Health Coach Training
I am an ADAPT-Certified Functional Health Coach and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I have been trained in the foundations of functional health, behavior change, and mind-body healing.
My approach is rooted in neuroplasticity – the brain’s ability to adapt and rewire itself. This is especially important for those navigating invisible injuries or illnesses such as traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, fatigue, or illness, because it means that healing isn’t just possible, it’s trainable. Together, we work to create new thought patterns, routines, and habits that support both your physical healing and mental resilience.
My functional health education includes:
- Neuroplasticity, Brain Health, Fatigue Recovery
Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery - Lifestyle medicine: exercise, sleep, stress, detox, and nervous system support
- Nutrition strategies: AIP, Paleo, low-FODMAP, ketogenic, ancestral principles, and intuitive eating
- Gut, immune, and hormonal health (including thyroid, autoimmune conditions, and fatigue-related illnesses)
Environmental toxin reduction - Kitchen confidence: food prep, meal planning, shopping, and simplifying decision fatigue

- Motivational Interviewing, Stages of Change, and Nonviolent Communication
- Strengths-based coaching, Positive Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry
- Habit formation/reversal, baseline awareness, pacing, and nervous system retraining
