Testimonials
Where do I even begin? To start with, when I first started working with Chaffin, I was One. Hot. Mess. I got a TBI in 2021 and had to quit my job due to it, and I've been pretty miserable since then. The tiniest bit of work, like putting away dishes, was incredibly painful, miserable, and demotivating. My neurologist and physical therapist were helping me, but life as I knew it was too overwhelming. But when I started working with Chaffin, she helped me break things down and make life easier. She helped me realize that I was pushing myself way too hard. What I came to love most about my appointments with her is that she would help me realize how many tiny steps were involved in even the smallest of activities. I started truly resting and doing activities that I could handle. Slowly I started working my way up to handling more.
I am happy to share that all in a day's work I am currently able to spend time with friends, unload that pesky dishwasher, walk 2 miles, and even read a chapter in a book thanks to slowly building up my resiliency with Chaffin's help. She has personal experience with TBIs. I found it very encouraging to speak with someone who did not think I was crazy. She validated my story and made me feel hopeful of healing.

I have enjoyed working with Chaffin. She helped me eat healthier. She taught me how to read food labels and to make more whole food dishes. I started out with no motivation to change. But she helped me increase my desire to change and my ability to do so. My doctor has been pleased with the progress shown in my bloodwork. I recommend working with Chaffin as a health coach.
